On the slopes of Jabuka mountain, at the border of Serbia and Montenegro, the Doskovic family raises alpine goats and from their milk produces rare cheeses, enriched with medicinal herbs of this region.The quality of their products, for which they received numerous awards, are explained by the fact that there are no concentrates in the nutrition of their goats.
Responsible for their good health and excellent quality of the milk, are the untouched nature, the white stone and the abundance of grasses and plants in these regions. It is often said that “in the taste of our cheeses you can feel the winds from Durmitor, Bjelasica, Zlatibor and Zlatar”. And right here, in the pastures, our goats are from March to December. During the winter months, goats are eating a hay in the meadows. Therefore, we are proud to point out that our cheese is “half food and half medicine”! We produce cheeses in a traditional manner, according to the recipes of our ancestors.
